Dec. 7th, 2016: Dr. Jim Withers and Operation Safety Net staff accept a check from Britt Keefer, co-owner of Golden Triangle Bike, representing the proceeds from Golden Triangle’s 2016 trail guide used by cyclists riding between Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
“We see balance in a project providing a useful tool for people choosing an outdoors adventure, also supporting people living outside”, said Britt Keefer of Golden Triangle Bike. Operation Safety Net, part of the Pittsburgh Mercy Health System and Trinity Health, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, touches the lives of hundreds of men and women living on the streets in Pittsburgh annually by providing them with access to health care, hope, and dignity. https://www.pittsburghmercy.org/operation-safety-net/
